If this is for another consultancy job I'd definitely want my money back!

Give up.

This site has been adulterated into a free, elementary "reference desk" for incompetent people masquerading as engineers.

Cheers.

Apparently Google and Wikipedia are just too hard to use.

What is mean by Dyn11?

D-Capital D means High voltage side delta connection.

y-small y means low voltage side having star connection.

n-neutral brought-out.

11- it denote that the phase shift between primary & secondary winding is +30deg.

means LV winding leading with HV with 30 deg.

when it is used?

it is used genearally in distribution system bcz. Secondary having star (4 wire system)

3 phases and 1 neutral & 11 phase shift is always used because winding construction of delta side is more easier in 11 than oters. if you use Dyn1 then it will not affect your system only phase shift will changed, but affect the parallel operation of transformer.

Dyn11 & Dyn1 only depends upon Delta side winding Connection.(way of jointing leads)
