1 psig of SF-6 gas lost over a 30 minute period equals how many actual SF-6 pounds?

It is crucial to make up the gas loss, take into account the weight from the cylinders when you have made up for the psig loss.

It depends on how much lbs of SF6 was in the apparatus to start with. The nameplate may tell you that. Consult the manufacturer.

Yeah. Damn right it does, too. It also depends on the temperature. Giz another blanket, Guvnor? It's bleedin' freezin' today! <Sneeze, dribble, splutter, cough>

If your SF6 insulated switchgear is leaking that much I would suggest replacing it.

As others have said it depends on the tank size (amount of SF6 gas) and original tank pressure (there is no direct correlation between psi drop only and pounds of gas lost).
