Koken Barber Chair Age and Restoration Help

I have an old Koken barber chair. The head rest says Koken and that's the only id that I can find.

Hopefully, someone can give me some direction. I'm considering restoring or having the chair restored.

You can view pics here, however; they are not good quality.

Is anybody familiar with the mechanism? I believe it's all manual operation.

Appreciate any help or direction.

For starters, cut and paste this: koken barber chair into the "Search all of CR4" window to the right.

Try the show Pawn Stars on Discovery/TLC. They got one of these barber chairs in and they have an outside company restore them for resale. Can't remember the name of the company but try their website for some more info.
