Diesel Generator Life

We have 19.6 kVA diesel generator ABB make 1997. Does someone give idea about total useful life of generator. Recently we have done complete varnish of generator after 60000 running hours.

Dear Sir,

You should feel proud to have such a set clocked 60000 hrs in 13 years the

average running hours per day being 12.82 ! The life time depends on your periodic

mainrenance of the set on the engine side since the engine has got more parts

which wear faster than electrical side. Any how above 10 years are good.
