DC Motor & Battery

hi friends i am having one q. that i have one 0.3watt motor,which works on 4.5-5volts(vmax).i am having li-ion battery 6 volt,500maH. so for how much time it will run.

It really depends on what the motor is driving. The only way you will get reliable data is to take current measurements in use and calculate from that, or actually do a timed test.

I=.3/6=50ma,

working hours will be t=500maH/50ma=10H

but if you use 5 volts then it will be t=500/60=8.33H(you have to use 5V ,other wise your equipment life time will reduce)

By the way "4.5-5volts (vmax)" is nonsense for a DC motor.
I'll bet a tin of my finest tuna it will be fine at 6v, it will of course draw a little more current.
Most DC motors will run fine on a large voltage range.
