Koken Barbers Chair

10/30/2010 7:10 PM

How do I find out what bearing is used on the insdie of a Koken Barbers Chair handle. The bearing came out in pieces so I don't even know what it looks like. Also is there a manual for this type of chair.

Seems amazing the number of Koken Barber Chair posts we get here. That said, I would think there would be someone out there capitalizing on it.

Was the bearing a unit or separate ball bearings inserted into a groove?

If it's a bearing unit then measure the inner and outer faces of what the bearing fits into then all you need to find out the width of the bearing. SKF and RHP will have extensive listings of available bearing units.

Surely you can get the width from any markings left on the shaft?
