What is square root 3 concept for calculation electrical power and how to arrive the square root 3

Draw an equlateral triangle, its center point, and the three lines from the center to each vertex. Each side of the original triangle is √3 times the length of each "radial" line. All of these lines are in the same angular relationship as the electrical currents in this "phasor diagram."

Electrical power generally transmitted is 3 phase. So the total power would be the sum of power transmitted in each phase. In other words it will be 3* V(phase) * I Volt- Ampere (Assuming a star connection). Now since the line quantities are normally used in the nomenclature, the formula reduces to (sq. root 3) * V (Line) * I Volt-Ampere (V (Phase) = V(line) / Sq.Rt 3)
