I want to know about the Gear Calculations and the tooth Corrections for the Helical gears.

I suggest that you obtain a copy of Machinery's Handbook. There are specific gear design handbooks available such as the Handbook of Practical Gear Design that are topic specific.

I do not know what you mean by tooth corrections, unless you are speaking about the application of long addendum versus short addendum which is used to enlarge the pitch diameter of a pinion and decrease the pitch diameter of a mating gear. This is common practice when high ratios are involved. Or perhaps you are talking about tooth tipping that sometimes must be done with high ratios and prevents undue load on the pinion teeth as they roll away from the gear teeth.

I will suggest one (1) thing that I think you will find helpful regarding the design of helical gears and the application of formulae. Try to think of them in terms of circular pitch rather than modular or diametral pitch. At least that is the technique that I use, and it comes in handy when I must apply the idea of long addendum versus short addendum to a pinion and gear set.

Good Reading!

If you are from India please refer PSG college of Technology ,Coimbatore hand book. I used to refer it 25 years ago. Or Any good Mechanical engineering hand book which will provide all required information about gear calculation details.
