I would like to know the standard that includes lifespan requirements for pressure parts of big coal fired power plant (such as main steam pipe, valve, steam drum, etc.). Please help me soon!
It is my experience that there is no nationally recognized "code" or "standard" that addresses lifespan issues for power plant pressurized parts.
There are, however, established inspection programs that are offered to the owners of these plants.
The programs typically involve a field review of existing components, NDE of selected high-pressure components and a concentrated review of expected locations where creep or corrosion may occur.
Tell us more about your specific plant

The lifespan is that which is determined by the Engineer/Surveyor from the company that supplies burst indemnity insurance cover for the installation.
End of.
