Pump Design Standards

11/15/2010 9:56 PM

For horizontal centrifugal pumps, I understand there are two design standards, EN 733 and EN EN 25199. I'm told that EN 733 are pumps generally for water industry/application whereas EN 25199 are generally heavy duty process pumps for all industries. Furthermore EN 25199 has been withdrawn and replaced by EN 5199 since 2002.

Does anyone have comparison between EN 733 and EN 25199/ 5199? How can I get hold of these standards?

Many thanks in advance for the invaluable advice
