Boiler Down Comers No.

11/15/2010 11:49 PM

Dear All,

I have an observation regarding our 325 MW thermal boiler thats its no. of downcomers are equal to the no of pipes going upward from the drum to the primary superheater inlet header.

Is there any logic behind this????

regards,

hasnain

Maybe each downcomer hooks up to its corresponding upcomer, assuming that none of these pipes splits?
