Acid Unloading Pump Impeller Question

hell all first thanks for help

our acid unloading pump impller is always broken (it may work for time then damage )and till now we did not find the reason for that I am asking if some one has same problem in his plant or has information about that , can advice us . what is reason , how to solve , or what he did to his problem.

As I understand your question, you have a broken pump of some unknown typeand you want to know the reason...?

Why..... the reason your pump is not working is because the thingamagig on the left became loose.

I don't mean to correct or argue...........but if I were a betting man, I would put my money on the "whatchamacallit" on the right becoming seized up which is why the pump stopped working.

As far as the title "city", I knew it referred to a broken pump

Sorry to correct you both, but my experience with pumping acid has always been that the doohicky that is attached to the impeller is the first thing to fail.

Unless it's a mag drive pump. Then it can usually be traced back to the framus being out of tune.
