Amplitude of Ultrasonic Sonotrode

Hello All,

I have a number of sonotrodes that all have an amplitude of 8-10 microns. However there is one sonotrode that we cannot get good results with. When I measured the amplitude of this one it was 18 microns.

Would anyone know what the most likely cause of such high amplitudes might be. There is no physical damage to this sonotrode that I can see and I viewed it under 200X magnification. All paramaters are the same for all sonotrodes.
