Magnetic couplings are design and application dependent, not the other way around. Magnetic couplings also come in countless forms and designs. You will need to be specific about size, load, air gap; etc, and on and on. There are no standard formulas for a design spec. that is not known.

Rotating, reciprocating [push-pull], load or forces involved, speed(s), permanent magnets, electromagnetic, type of load, source of power? etc. etc.?

No one, to my knowledge, has a hand book of magnetic drive couplings and drive designs. No one, should be expected to write one for an audience of one.

If YOU will supply the specifics of your application you MIGHT get some elp.
