If the three single-core cables are laid in trefoil formation, then why should you worry about bonding or no-bonding? In trefoil formed cables, there will not be any residual flux to induce any emf in the screen/armour. Only when the cables are laid in horizontal formation, one need to worry about screen bonding. Reference is drawn to Clause 13.2 of IS 1255-1983, wherein it is stated that "in case of single core cables of larger sizes, the armour, lead sheath and metal screen, if any, is bonded at time at only one point".

It would be surprising if the cable manufacturer couldn't offer installation guidance.

Of similar curiosity is why the cable is being installed without the knowledge being to hand of how to do it.

Dear,

A question does not mean, a person who is asking question, is doing what is asked in question. The question is just for better understanding on the subject.

Any way thanks for your answer
