Oxygen Generator

03/24/2007 9:46 AM

At work I already use a VSA oxygen generator but the company is expanding and we need another. I have maintained this machine for about 5 years now but I have no experience of the PSA generators. Can anyone who has experience of VSA and PSA generators tell me which one they would choose if they had the choice of either. I'm looking at this from a money and time spent on maintenance perspective.

You can separate oxygen from air or water by ionizing these. If you need more details then write to me. I have technology for sale.

these adsoprtion methods are far cheaper for reasonable pure oxygen. Ionization of water in the liquid state to seperate oxygen from it...tell me more

Oxygen generators are used for different purposes with different level of purity and need technology accordingly.

For medical use, one requires only enhanced oxygen level.

For industry one requires liquid oxygen that can be transported easily.

I have technology to generate oxygen for medical use that will not need a gas cylinder and one can generate excessive oxygen from air for better breathing in healthcare.

heating water will yield only small amount of Oxygen. Electrolytic separation of water will yield greater amount of Oxygen. Oxygen and Nitrogen in air can be separated and it will yields high amount of Oxygen.

can you tell me what do you have in relation to oxygen generator. we have a monthly consumption of 4000 cubic metre of oxygen for cutting steel of 100 to 130 sq mm steel billets.

Dear Participant

According to me the choice of PSA depends on the PURITY of OXYGEN RERQUIRED as you must be aware that the TAILINGS of the PSA are of ~50-60% oxygen contenet (single stage) hence from MAINTENECE angle & ONSITE GENERATION PURPOSE the PSA is the best but for MEDICAL LOW PRESSURE APPLICATION there is MEMBRANE PROCESS is there which is very easiest to OPERATE I can help you in DECIDING if you let me know

1.PRESSURE REQUIREMENT (OXYGEN)

2.PURITY

3.WHETHER TRANSPORTATION is require or not

to my suggestion i would preffer to PSA than VPSA. But VPSA Can work effectively in very low pressure too.
