Whatever goes in your tank must be supplied from somewhere by something. Is it possible that this process is being referred to by the vendor as service and that they think it will need a gasket?

Jacky Lee,

I fail to understand you being the designer of the tank and being unaware of any componet of said tank? Maybe you need to supply more information to obtaine a useable answer.

Jerrell,

Jacky, I think "I'm a design engineer" is wishful thinking. I've had a look at some of your previous posts.

This seems to be yet another one of those regretable "give a loaded pistol to a child" situations.

Nevertheless...

The service gasket is simply the gasket that will be used to seal the joint while the process is in operation.
