25 hp DC Motor

sir i want to install a 25 hp dc motor for water pump. i want to know that 25 hp dc motor will be run 0n 10 200 amp batteries and how much time motor can work on 10 fully charged 200amp batteries

Assuming your DC motor run on 100V DC (most likely), and batteries are 12V type, your motor effieciency is 85%, and the motor capacity is 200Ah (not 200A):

Your best case with fully charged up batteries is

Current consumption = 25*746/0.85/100= 219 A.

Since the DC motor run on 100V , you will only be able to use 8 batteries in series at most to get 96V

So, your best case batteries will only last 200/219= 0.91 hour .
