I just tried to look it up on google to no avail, but I read a great story once that took care of all the "trivial" problems mentioned in your link. Boiled down, Santa uses advanced technology to "bend and slow time"... his route actually takes him months in his time, but a mere night in ours. It was well written and worth finding... I'll keep looking!

The snopes article makes me a believer! The speed is obviously the reason we don't see him. And as for those calories, well he needs that energy for the speed. It all balances out in my mind. I now believe Santa's actually an engineer.

You just have to believe. If you don't believe, you won't get any presents.

Just yesterday I saw what I believe to be the real Santa on the Today show, and he had the simplest explination.......he has the ability to (and uses it) to stop time. He can bloody well take as long as he wishes, maybe even goes back to the North Pole and makes a second pick up or even takes a nap!! I do believe he takes the cookies back to the elves, hence the stunted growth and lots of energy.

Merry Christmas all;!!!!
