Project Performent

12/23/2010 1:23 AM

Hi all.

I recently applied for a position of engineer as project performance in factory. The factory is manufacturing the switch board ( HV panels, MV panels, LV panels and DB panels ) and sometime this company delivery then install the panels at site. Can anyone tell me what does an engineer do exactly in this factory? what are the things he's responsible for? I want to know these things so I can be ready for the interview in case they called.

Thank you guys in advance.

At the switchgear manufacturer an engineer can be responsible for any of the following:

Production, Design, Testing and trouble shooting, Sales, Tendering, Purchasing, Installation and commissioning (Projects).

Prior to asking someone for an input you need to pin point as to which department you will be posted.

You just need to change your attitude. Changing "in case they called" to "I am confidant that I will make it" is just an example.

Positive outlook and optimism is essential for success in life.

since there are few engineers at factories, my advice is to study the production system they use and be familiar with any other engineering activities that take place within that factory and other competitive factory of that kind and develop a broader understanding and that will help when answering any question @ the interview.

please be confident they will call you and good luck @ the interview.
