just wondering if anyone out there has any experience, good or otherwise with the new induction lamps? I know the big three have them SO high priced that only "Special" applications can afford them...
Thanks

Ive developed an LED based product powered by induction but it only has use as a current sensor rather than a device to produce light in volume.
It can detect currents > 0.25-500 Amperes from a single pass through a simple current transformer. If the current transformer is eliminated and the device placed in circuit it will produce a bi-coloured light signal over the range of 0.003 to 10 Amperes. The Bi colour LED also has 2 optocouplers in series giving volt-free outputs to a data system that resolve the presence and polarity of a current over this massive range.
It has to be the simplest device available for the purpose of getting information straight to the eye and to a machine as it is line-powered and only needs to fitting into a circuit. Just imagine being able to see even intermittent faults

INDI-LINK makes 'Light' of 'Current' events, a veritable window into wiring.
That's very good docrobgar, I'm sure you will find many uses for that.
We know of a person who has the technology to produce the induction/electrodeless lamps/ballast at a fraction of the cost the majors incur, and he can DIM it easily while all others claim No dimming feature on their Induction lamps.. Oh well, that doesn't surprise me, when all the HPS experts said you CANNOT dim HPS lamps, my engineer designed the Dimming Sodium that works perfectly, and will dim down to 5%, and allows the arc tube to instant re-strike, similiar to the Electrodeless technology!
I LOVE IT, when people say, "You cannot do that".... ha

Can I have the name and adress of the person, who has the technology of producing Induction lamps and ballasts with dimming application. You can send it to rrao@litetronics.com
