what happens to a circuit with 3 resistors connected in parallel when one of the resistors is open-circuited?

Nothing. No change in current and voltage in other two resistors if all has equal resistance.

Re-draw the circuit with just two restsors, and do the calculations.

The equivalent resistance of ckt will increase. current distribution changes. Vtg remains same.

Agree resistance will increase, but question mentions no voltage or current.

Well that makes it two resistors in parallel instead.
