How to join hopper to shell of galvanized iron corrugated grain storage silo. That is how bolting is done at the junction of hopper & shell of silo ( Galvanized iron corrugated ), Silo wall is of corrugated sheets GSM-350.
I would start by asking the silo manufacturer about accessories such as doors, chutes, hoppers, etc. Chances are they make something with a "rippled" frame to match the corrugations, and to fasten securely.

Actually this is a conical bottom silo for grain storage. And I want to know how to join bottom hopper to above cylindrical shell. Cylindrical shell is having wall of galvanied corrugated sheets.
Site you have provided is very helpfull. Thank you very much. But in my case this is a Galvanized iron corrugated conical bottom grain silo. Shell of silo is of corrogated sheets and conical bottom i.e.hopper is of non corrugated. So we have to join this corrugated part to non corrugated part. I know that ring beam is used to join this hopper to upper shell but I want to know how bolting is done to join this ring beam to hopper & shell of silo. This ring beam is used in between shell & hopper for strength purpose.
