A full discussion of this would be too lengthy for a Q/A forum. The various material qualities do not necessarily correlate closely to one another. They include:
tensile strength (ultimate)
tensile strength (yield)
percentage of elongation (at break)
compressive strength
shear strength
hardness (Brinell or Rockwell, or durometer for elastomers)
ductility
malleability
(notch) toughness
Many/most/all of these terms can be Web-searched for further information, and would also be explained in strength-of-materials textbooks.
