It certainly is interesting. I hope it is far from any application in human medicine though.
Why would I hope such a thing? Because what is being said about proteins in the genome code here, is identical to what is said about chemical drugs which have been designed to produce the same "almost" effects of naturally occurring chemicals.
Am I cynical, or is the endeavor to produce biological effects with genetic/protein designs "not found in nature" all about the patents? All about ownership. And in the case of human medicine, all about the price of the treatment.
If or when we reach the stage that diseases such as Alzheimers can be treated with gene therapy, what are the chances that the 'natural' alternative is accepted as best? If a patented gene is available, this will be the product that is available and recommended, instead of the less-patentable alternative which is found in healthy people.

nice. we should really maximize the things that offered to us by science..here is another good news: Bloom Energy of CA has created an alternative energy source known as the Bloom Box. The Bloom Box supplies clean energy off the power grid, but has been too expensive for widespread use. To nudge the Bloom Box into the mainstream, Bloom Energy is beginning a finance system that connects corporations to Bloom Box energy without the capital investment within the technology.
