Flow Indicator of Generator Cooling Water

FLOW indicator of generator cooling water .

my question is, is the flow indicator applicable for big diameter pipes about 6 inches

Read the flow meter spec/manual.
Look on the manufacturers website.

As long as the meter is properly calibrated for the size pipe it's used in, it will operate properly.

It depends on criticality of the service. However for cooling water service normally flow indicators are avoided to avoid another maintenance point and chocking source in the system.
