Condensate Pot in Pressure X'mtr For Water Service

01/11/2011 12:13 AM

hi all!

I'm working in a CFBC power plant. I have observed a pressure transmitter mounted in fedd water line at Economizer inlet which employing a condensate pot. Is it right to place a condensate pot. what I usually observed that only for those condensable gases service could be used a condensate pot. Does it affect the pressure measurement? Thank you for your help.

condensate pot is usually used to protect transmitter from high tempurature, so in economizer tempurature is almost 80 to 95 C temp so you have to need to protect transmitter sensor from continues high temp.

just you check the installation of condensate pot and transmittter.
