Single Core Cable Fault

dear all,

i have a single core cable for cathodic protection and its opend under ground.

i have a power cable fault locator but i dont know how to test it.

Look for the manual. Do a search on the internet for the device model number and look for the instructions at the manufacturers web site. You can generally pick up what you need in the first couple of chapters.

Attach the cable detectors signal generator to either the pipe or the anode and follow the signal. Otherwise get out the pick and shovel.
