Hello all:

We have a produced water pump with maximum of 154000 mg/l chloride I want to know a material with 12% cr is suitable for this pump?

Or what should be the material for this pump with the mentioned chlorides content?

154000mg/l chloride isn't water - it's practically salt slurry.

Why not use a screw conveyor instead? - A pump won't last long with salt slurry passing through it!

You better use a Hastelloy pump or an adequate rubber coated one...

12% Cr would be no good - try C276, Hastelloy or Inconel
