Well if you are still there and didn't just pass out at your computer (accidentally sending the message as your forehead hit the keyboard) I would suggest having a bit of a search of CR4 for previous threads on the subject of mechanical projects (it is a common question).

Alternatively supplying more information would help greatly, such as what type of mechanical engineering and what course is this for (are you at primary school or doing a university level doctorate).

U can visit a nearby power project for a seven day orientation. That would be very helpful. You can request your university to arrange for the visit.
