Yes, start a thread, find out what people are interested in. Mathematics as a subject in itself could be very interesting, as a methodology for conceptualization. We currently have science as one form, with engineering an alternate form. There is applied science, theoretical engineering. There are belief systems, like religions, which seek similar structures of thought. The ancient Greeks saw mathematics as the purest form of thought, as it could be separated from specific descriptions of reality(no ref).

So, in what are you interested?
