On any equipments, if load is not balanced it will fall down.

For the unbalance loads, these are major disadvantages for the generators:

(1) In the case of unbalance load, the stator current has negative sequence component. The flux due to negative sequence components rotates in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation. Thereby heavy currents are produced in the rotor causing rotor damaged by over heating.

(2) The capacity of the generator can not be fully used – only a percentage of the capacity can be utilized.

GA from me on that msamad.

Further to the OPs specific questions:

Computers? Unless the computer is fed from an unbalanced 3 phase system, or a phase OF an unbalanced 3 phase system, there is no effect on the computer. But if there is a severe unbalance from the source that causes a voltage drop, the low voltage to the computer's power supply will cause problems if it is outside of the range of tolerance of the input.

Pumps? If the pumps have electric motors, the same issues regarding negative sequence current applies to all 3 phase electric motors, be they on pumps or anything else. If the pumps are powered by single phase electric motors, only the voltage drop issue applies.

If the pumps are powered by engines or air, unbalanced electrical power will not have much of an effect.
