Public Address and Speakers Interface

Hello,

i just need please to ask you a question. Does NFPA permit the audio speakers to have an interface with the public address system? Or should they be seperated?

If the speakers don't interface with the PA - how do you hear anything ?

maybe these speakers are connected to a music panel and don't interfer with the Public address system...
