How to increase the vacuum pressure using venturi ejectors

02/03/2011 12:23 PM

Dear forum members,

I am using an Venturi ejector to create vacuum for testing of tank bottom plate welds using vacuum box, in which i am getting only 0.4 bar pressure instead of 0.7 bar pressure. I thing I need to change the venturi design/ dimension to increase the vacuum pressure.

Venturi inlet size is 3/8", suction size is 1/2", Venturi outlet size is 3/8"

Please provide some venturi design with dimension details to create vacuum of 0.7 bar pressure.

With Regards,

Raj,

Have you considered using the manifold vacuum from an IC engine to get the pressure you require?

Dear Mr.Raj,

We are dealing with such vacuum ejectors. They are operated by compressed air and they can produce upto -0.94 bar vacuum. If you are interested plz mail me.
