Here is Gotham Curve, once part of the fabled Cromford & High Peak Railway:

It is currently a footpath.

The project is to turn it back into a railway.

Find a way to provide low cost, non-lethal housing for disaster victims. New Orleans comes to mind.

Use "Brownies' model as the way not to do it.

Haiti! Grrrrrrr.

Like you, I didn't have thousands of people to do my homework for me in school.

That's why I don't, usually, offer any homework help.

I have to go. My 12 year old is doing a report and needs to use my computer. He has to read a real book, too.

Cheers.

I guess they could call us "old farts" eh? LOL We did our own homework years ago, and nobody but nobody ever helped us! Now the kids (mostly) want everything done for them. Probably more the parents fault for letting it happen in the first place. Then there's that apathy problem too!

Well well, welcome to the "Teenage years" dude! LOL Been there done it 5X now...with my own 3 kids + 2 Step-kids! The youngest is my Stepdaughter @ 17 Y.O and driving me mad and giving nothing but mouthiness and BA! Problem is all of the electronic toys (like a laptop, DVD player, I-Touch, and the Nintendo machines......blah blah blah.....egads, what will they come up next with to waste our hard-earned Mula? OR is that "Hardly earned"??? ) that her mom gives to her whenever she literally demands it! OMG, I'm starting to sound like my old man! LMAO Geezzz, I'm looking back now and he was right! I couldn't see the trees from the forest back then.

Good to see that your son is actually reading a book! Are you sure it's made out of paper and book binding materials, and not a Nook or Kindle 3G Wifi???? LOL

Have a great one lyn....say warm and outta the snow (it's doing that here yet again this afternoon....every 3 or 4 days since before X-Mas! Storm #12 now!!!!).

This is my third time. Raised my kids; divorced, raised new wife's two and an now guardian of my stepdaughters 3 boys, 5,6 and 12, who live with us. Their mom is out of the picture for 5-7 years. Fathers not around. Ain't life great. Enough about that.

Just do the best you can.
