I have a data logger written by me in VB6 reading the serial port. I would need your e-mail and you can have it to see if it helps. I will send the code and exe file.

CR4 does not allow posting of e-mail addresses (well, one can, but, before it gets on CR4, the site admin will delete the email address and substitute a warning). But if you left click with your mouse on the original post's name in the question box, you will bring up a window which includes a "Send a message to...name" option. You can send a message via CR4 using that option.
