NVH

Hi all... Can anyone post some links that are about automotive NVH??... I am interested to know how NVH is engineered in production vehicles.. what its scopes are.. i searched wikipedia and so.. found many sites connected with simulation and analysis of NVH characteristics... But I wish to know NVH from its basic level!.. pls help!

Start here, it's pretty basic. Truly understanding NVH can take years, and an education. You cannot be injected with knowledge.

Automobile manufacturers fight NVH all the time. Factories design it out before the cars hit production. But when there is an error in production, the dealers are stuck finding the cure. It could be a missing part, an extra part, or just a poor assembly job.

Try talking to a service manager at a local new car dealer. If more information is required, contact a zone manager for a manufacturer.
