If you use a shrinking type of cement or grout underneath column or machinery pads or rails, it will shrink and allow the structure or equipment to sag below level. Hence non-shrinking.

Depending on how much water is mixed in, 25 kg would good for about 0.005-0.010 m3.

The grout tends to pull back away from the walls after a few months.,shrinking

,then you have to regrout it.

This quick setting and non shrinking cement generally used to grout foundation bolts of pumps and motors to already concreated machine foundation.Even at lower sand-cement ratio it sets quickly without producing cracks. With stands vibrations effeciently and exibits durabality too.

Read "How to use mannual" properly.Generally it is written on the bag itself.

Some very good answers from my fellow forum members.

If you're using a non-shrink grout under steel column baseplates or equipment mounted on a concrete foundation, then I strongly suggest that you use a "non-metallic non-shrink grout" to help prevent future corrosion. Also, make sure you use a thin structural steel leveling plate under any column and/or machinery baseplate that is of equal or greater planimetric area than the baseplate in question.
