Alternative Fuel Engine

02/17/2011 11:14 AM

Hello,

I would like to ask. Where did the alternative engine design go to. It appeared on the net about 5 years ago, and overnight it disappeared!

So who bought it out? and why are we still burning oil in our automobiles Mr President?

Jeff

Which alternative engine are you speaking of? Which alternative fuel?

And what do you think Mr. President has to do with this disappearance? Which president... General Motors, Exxon...

Here's a link to an engine with some real potential.

Was this one of the many (many) pseudoscience over-unity scam engine designs? A water electrolysis internal combustion engine design perhaps?

Which one are you talking about, and have we already discussed it on CR4?

House resolution 748.IH submitted couple of days ago prohibits the secretary of the DoT from authorizing the use of any ethanol mixed fuel exceeding 10% in light-duty vehicles, light-duty trucks, and medium-duty passenger vehicles. The bill has fifteen sponsors, so apparently has some traction. I don't understand why we spent so damned much time and human energy on ethanol, gave subsidies and underwrote an entire industry just to basically ban the use less that ten years later.

At the same time, there are two others trying to promote and expand ethanol, one to remove production incentives, one to maintain the current state, and one that wants the EPA, insurance industry, etc. to take a hard look at the overall effect of ethanol production, use and passive effects overall.

ref: www.thomas.gov, search ethanol.
