Basically for I&C qa/qc is to inspect the quality of work during installation/repair of any I&C related equipments. after instrument installation an RFI must be issued and qc personnel will check the installation if it is following the standards being implemented in the Plant / in accordance with the IID (instrument installation drawing). Also the signal cable installation, race ways/cable trays..if it is not following the standards a Punch report/Non-comformance/Safety Corrective Action may be issued.
