Voltage Grade: Instrumentaion Cable

02/25/2011 12:14 PM

Instrumentaion cable Datasheet specifies

i) Working voltage for Instrumentation Cable as 300/500 V as per BS 5308.

ii) Working voltage for Instrumentation Cable as per VDE 0815/VDE 0207 is 225 V peak.

What does it mean ?. What is difference between two ?.

What is criterion for selecting working voltage in Instrumentaion cable ?

<...What is criterion for selecting working voltage in Instrumentation cable ?...>

The supply voltage on the circuit for which it is to be selected.
