Neutron Bomb?

02/26/2011 1:33 AM

Hi. Just curious if anything relating to neutron bomb subjects is discussed on CR4. I searched relevant segments of forums, but could not find any references. Thanks.

I think it should be safe so long Mr. Bush is not on the forum. However admin may sensor it.

It was originally president Jimmy Carter who had planned to deploy them in Europe (and elsewhere).

But yeah, let's keep politics off the forum.

Actually I quoted him for different reason than what you thought of, but getting misquoted is obvious if we talk of politics and politicians,

How about if He consider us the associate of Khan lab if we discuss this subject,

Typically explosives and explosive devices are not discussed here on CR4 for obvious reasons but what would you want to know about this particular device?

Politics in the middle east are such that we may need to be prepared for deployment of a neutron bomb within or over the USA. I believe that is reason enough to know more about the devices , means of delivering them, and intelligence concerning deployment.

Ok, here's the deal. If you talk too much about explosives here your post will be removed. Nobody here is going to give you any real info on how to build or deploy a bomb. No insult intended but we don't want to be responsible for someone following our instructions and killing themselves or others. Sorry.

Re: Why discuss Neutron Bomb on this forum?

The point is NOT to know HOW to make a neutron bomb, as I hoped would have been clear from my first reply. Moreover it is utterly impossible to build one without massive facilities, a lot of specialized knowledge and many years of effort. I'm most definitely not trying to discuss making of explosives here.

Because of those who hate us, we need to KNOW ABOUT how they wreak destruction, disable electrical and electronic devices in addition to killing people over a short to longer period of time.

Already there is some evidence that the nuclear development in the middle east is not for the purpose of a conventional nuclear bomb, but rather one that destroys people and electronics but leaves buildings, etc., intact, i.e., a neutron bomb. Newsworthy sources indicate that those bent upon our destruction have already made pacts with Venezuela (proximity to the USA) and talks with Mexican drug cartels to determine effective pathways into this country.

From what I have been able to gather, conflicting statements about effects exist everywhere. Some indicate that one detonated over the center of this country will kill every one. Others state that the range is perhaps a few tens of Kilometers.

This is an engineering group. Personally, I'm a graduate level EE, PE, with 10 patents. The questions I posed are to gather a better idea of what we may face sooner or later, and how we might be ready, to the extent possible. There exists no better group regarding talent and knowledge in that regard.
