MESC Numbers

Can any body tell me how to use MESC Number for material.

Our client has given us his piping spec mentioning 6digit of MESC number with last 4 digist as xxxx. We are confused that how we can put last 4 digit. Is there any guide on MESC Numbers

You'll need the Shell "Material Equipment Standards and Codes" Manual.
