How to Calculate Electromagnetic Force of 3-Phase Enclosure-Type GIB

Dear sir,

I want to calculate electromagnetic force of 3-phase enclosure-type gas insulated bus-bar under short circuit current.

I simplified the short circuit current formular as below, while I have to consider the eddy current inducded of the shell. I wonder How can I get a correct answer.

Ia=Im*(sin(wt+phi)-exp(-t/ta)*sin(phi))

Ib=Im*(sin(wt+phi-2*pi/3)-exp(-t/ta)*sin(phi-2*pi/3))

Ic=Im*(sin(wt+phi+2*pi/3)-exp(-t/ta)*sin(phi+2*pi/3))

I want to solving this problem with ANSYS, but How can I make sure the accurate of simulation result?

The enclosures for the GIB are standardized to be of aluminium alloys, what is the composition of the enclosure under consideration, what is the capacitance and how did you calculate it and with what criteria?

Dear sir,

to get the electromagnetic force of GIB, I use FEM software ANSYS. So not many factors need to be considered;

the material of GIB, conductor and shell are aluminium. short circuit current is shown as above. All I want is how I can get the force using ANSYS.

Software is not a crucial element, it is just a tool to expedite and get results when you are pressed for time.

It is crucial that you as a designer should know how things happen and must have a grasp of the very basics.

With your approach of taking shortcuts, you will stumble time and again, I do not know how on earth someone can help you.

It is curcial to know the basic theory of thing as a designer. As you said, software is only a tool to expedite, I want to discuss with you futher after I understand that matter clearly.
