There are hundreds of "Ready-made" recorders, and I'm certain that if you spent some time shopping around the net you will find something that will work for your particular situation. They come in everything from the oh-so-handy spy recorder pen to the video/audio recording shirt buttons.

Please explain why commercially available devices are not suitable. Is this for some covert application?

A tiny voice recorder? How tiny?

I have seen Greeting Cards with voice recorders inside of them.

Smaller than one of those? Cheaper than five bucks? Ambitious you are!

I hope this works out for him.

After many ours of searching I discovered that M.F.D.O. is an acronym for Micro Film Director of Operations.

He is in charge of putting full length episodes of "GLEE" on microfilm to be smuggled into North Korea to try and calm them down a notch.

He hope to buid tiny voice recorder that that memorise him singing in Korean along with the glee singers.

He will then disguise the SD card as a weapon to make it easier to smuggle into North Korea.

Apparently Kim Jong II is a big Glee fan!
