One approach is to use air pressure and use a piston to compress the pouch between two metal plates. A low amount such as 15 psi might be adequate but this becomes trial and error. Initially, place your oil pouch within a larger bag so that you contain the oil when the pouch breaks. You will then learn what the right amount of pressure is for an ongoing, non-destructive test.

Good Luck

A large vacuum chamber (perhaps 2 gal./7liter) with blue dye in water.

Example here:

Place package in chamber and start pump. Allow to remain at target vacuum (to be determined through trial and error) for 1 minute.

The air in the oil bag will be replaced with blue dye if a leak is present.

This is how we test the seals on blister packs of pills/tablets pharma.
