Auto Turn Off Water Pump with 4 Different Time Slots

This project is done using a controller.i want to know why we need 4 diff time slots..purpose of different time slots

Because, sometimes three just isn't enough. And five won't go into 24 an even number of times. So, there you have it.

why different time slots are required..why is one not sufficient

Maybe "they" didn't want all the water at one time?

Where does the water go when pumped? Onto the ground? Into a holding tank?

We don't know. Please ask the person who has specified this requirement.

One thing this would do is to fill up a tank to any of four chosen fluid levels.
