They are real. The term, "monster", is derived from our lack of understanding of them.

I hope this "GODZILLA" has nothing to do with the tremors in Japan. It's just a myth actually.

If there are creatures that resides underneath the deepest ocean, the probability for it to ashore is more unlikely.

First, in order for it to made it ashore, it should have the ability to withstand enormous change of pressure.

When this monster try to ashore it will be like into suicide. It will be killed by expansion.

It might be there are enormous monster below, but certainly it stays on its own habitat where the conditions for its survival fits its design.

This myth is busted, with that fact.

That's not true! I have seen, when I was a child, a documentary about a sea monster, disturbed by the radiation from Hiroshima (that penetrated up to its nest!). Fortunately, for humanity, a brave Japanese savant sacrificed his life, and killed that beast, called Godzilla, with an oxygen depleting weapon. That is so!

The picture in the OP looks fake, but there are real deep-sea (and even upper sea) life forms that are just as "odd." Few of them wash ashore, but any that do so tend to be surprising, because they are so seldom seen.

hey tornado, have you seen one in your life time? Like the lake monster-something like that. I've seen a gigantic shark on Natgeo TV at deep ocean. In the Philippines we have folklore that serpents having grown at larger size, tend to go to the sea. I have heard from my grandmother itself. Well, some of there age have seen it also. Now, it's not the story anymore.

These are very real, so one can only assume there is more in the oceans...

All 'monsters' do not come from the deep blue sea:
