FSAE Car Main Hoop

Hi CR4,

We are building a FSAE car.

We're looking for a material else than chromoly that could be used for the main hoop of our chassis which would be a non-corroding steel. Any ideas of what material we could use?

If you read the rules at the link below then any material you wish to use is allowed as long as the proper testing and certification is presented for approval within the time frme of the rules.
