Welding of S.S.

what precaution we must take to weld ss plate to prevent defect and enhance weldablity. what are the signs that indicate we are in wrong methode ,procedure etc.

Welding ss isn't different than welding cs. If you have the proper equipment and filler material just weld it.

While performing any schedule welding, welding procedure specifications shall be made and got approved by the authentic body. Once WPS is ready then you need not to ask any thing. The welding of SS plate require control of welding current, welding speed, size of welding electrode or if using TIG welding, then flow of inert gas, current control during start up and stoppings etc. Filler wire or electrode grade shall be matching with the base material.
